Does just the act of lifing weights increse testosterone in women? I empasize "just" lifting weights, since I know certain kinds of supplementation to enhance the lifting will obviously do so. But will just plain lifting lifting weights regularly, consistanly and with much effort cause a release of testosterone in the female body? I know that "cardio highs" come from the release of adrenaline, but does moderate to intense weight lifting cause physiological changes as well (aside from the physical benefits of increasing muscle tissue)?
