With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
OK I know I've only been working out for almost a month...however I can say that I've been getting a tad bit discouraged. I guess mainly cause I haven't seen a lot of weight loss, even though I can tell I'm losing inches, but also because my workouts seemed to be getting easier. So today I pushed myself to the limit and I must say it feels great and while I'm exhausted, I'm also renewed with how working out makes my body feel and excited to keep going.
So if you start to get into a slump and discouraged that your training isn't working for you, then go to the gym with the determination to get that feeling back that you had the first time you worked out where you can actually feel your body.
I know this is kind of cheesy, but I thought I'd share it.
congrats on gettin that back! and i totally agree with you.. when I go to the gym and give it my all, I get the satisfaction of knowing I've had a good training session. i dont think its cheesy in one bit, be proud of who you are and what you've accomplished.
