I have been on the Dr.phil diet for 5 weeks now and only lost 20lbs. Is that good or bad. How are other people doing?

good results...bad role model....

I would not follow advice of a guy who's overweight himself yet is trying to sound off on the problem of obesity in US

20 pounds is very good.....but question is how are you doing it? there are many ways to lose weight...some are healthy/good and some are very unhealthy/bad....

i agree with menace...my psych teach told me that dr. phil has a Doctorate degree from a college that doesn't give out doctorates in psychology...so yah find a new role model.

But what ever your doing keep it. very few people are able to accomplish a loss of 4 pounds a week. you should be proud of yourself.

what is the diet you're on? I don't know if I'd do it..I want to shape up real nice a healthy way..but I'm curious? Because..20ibs..in 5 weeks sounds pretty good. I'm not actually trying to lose weight though, just tone myself up good. Well, maybe lose a little weight. Please post what the diet is though. thanks!

You can get the book in stores. It's called the ultimate weight solution food guide. It gives you sample menu's.

Losing more than 3-4 pounds a week is unhealthy, and shows you aren't getting enough nutrients.
