With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
I am 15 years old. I way about 170 pounds currently. I wanted to get down to 150. Oridinally the doctor told me to be around 140 I was at 185 when I went to the doctor. So I decided to lose weight. I work out 5 days a week on an exercise bike. I do 50 minutes and try to burn at least 500 calories. and I am going to start a new workout program with my brother. we switch it around every couple months. The question I have been wondering... well that I always have been is I am wurried about losing weight to quick than I lose my muscle which I don't want to at all. I know you are suppose to lose about 1-2 lbs a week but I lose more than and I am worried that it is muscle is there anything I can do so I just loose fat because I worked hard for my muscle and I don't want to lose it. if you can help me that would be great.
