Hi, I work out M,W,F,S and try to play tennis on T,TH with Sunday as a rest day. Sometimes I unable to find a partner for tennis though so I just don't do any cardio at all. I know what to eat on the days that I lift, but what is better for off-days? Also, I am a college student and eating 6 meals a day is basically impossible here although I know it's better. I hate loading up three times per day because it makes you overly full at times and hungry at others. Any suggestions?

take food with you to college
keep your diet more or less the same on off days
if its a good diet, why not stick with it

3 real meals a day is more than enough...the rest is made up with snacks....like protein shakes, yogurt, nuts, trail mix, P&J sanwiches, etc....you can prepare them ahead of time and take then with you....so try to eat 3-4 snack during the day
shake in morning before breakfast...then handful of nuts after breakfast, maybe yogurt after lunch, and protein bar/shake after dinner/before slp...

remember that your muscles grow during rest, so you need to fuel them the same as you would on lift days.

i was gonna give an intelligent answer there, but you beat me to it. i would have said, use the concept that you dont grow in the gym, but afterwards, so you need all your proteins and cals, etc, for your body to repair itself on the off days, it is as important if not more.
-------------- shut up adam.
