With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.

 Hi all

It's been a little while since I last ventured into the boards so I hope you'll forgive the sudden intrusion, but I have a little question that I hope/think someone here should be able to answer. I've recently moved to Los Angeles (yesterday) from New Zealand and would dearly like for someone to let me know what gyms suck or rule. I'm working in the Hollywood area, so somewhere in that region would be great.

Anyway, thanks in advance

Ah, quite the opposite I'm afraid. This is my first time to the States. Everything is quite large here huh? Bought a coffee this morning and it was enormous.

Bless your heart, are you doing okay? Yes, the US is all about too much of everything. We love excess, it's very strange.

Can't help but comment on this one. I had a friend come over from England for a mutual friends wedding, and she had never been to a Dairy Queen. We took her, and she bought a SMALL blizzard. When she got it, she tried to take it back because she thought they had given her a LARGE. Show's how different things are.
