I have a little fat on my stomach that I can't seem to get to go away. I have been working out 4 days a week and 2 days of cardio for 20 min a time. My question is should I decrease to a fat lose calorie plan or stick with my maintanence calorie level? In other words should I try to lose the fat first then concentrate on building the muscle or let the muscle increase take care of the fat. I am 5' 11 and weigh about 132 to 135lbs and I have been eating 2300 cals a day and get about 140 to 150 grams protein per day.

Depends on what your goals are i was in the same situation as most are, I decided that i wanted to get bigger so i accepted the fact that i was going to have some fat and that i would strip it away later is it's not hard for me to get rid of fat or put weight on. Once you decide just increase or decrease your calories by 250 calories a day per week until you see the scale move. Also at 5'11 and 135lbs. doesn't sound to big to me, i'm the same height and i was at 183 when i decided to just go ahead and pack he weight on if you eat clean you can limit fat gain but not eliminate now i'm 193 and i'm glad i decided to just go ahead and bulk because bigger is what i wanted so i feel good about myself. Hope that helps.
