I have gained abotu 3 4 lbs from my week of from lifting, i'm starting back tomorrow with a new fire lit. Now my measurements are the same, or pretty much, no big gains anywhere. Is it safe to say, and since my body fat is still abotu the same acording to my scale(21-23%) that this is good lean weight?

Some of it probably is, but I think it's beyond impossible to gain that much muscle in a week. Probably a mixture of water weight, added muscle, and maybe not having taken your morning BM, heh heh.

i think most of it's water weight. 3-4lbs. of muscle in a week is not likely. DId you weigh yourself at your regular time?

Maybe it's your muscle glycogen stores being replenished with associated water gain?

I find I always weigh a pound or two less after legs day which I presume is due to glycogen and water loss.

Maybe its just a normal old scale. Most scales are crappy. I've never seen a home scale that you can't step off of and right back on and not get a different weight, especially the digital ones.

Justine, like anything else if you buy a scale that was made on Monday while the workers were hungover there is always a chance of error.
