Hi, I really need to quit smoking. Anyone here do this recently? I have been smoking so much lately, a pack a day just about. I think that I will log whenever I have a cigarette during the day and maybe that will help me to see how often and why (the circumstances, bored? hungry?)but also any advice will help. Thank you.

I think the log is a good idea. Me personally, I just put them down and stopped. Granted, I still cant resist the urge to smoke when I drink. I also cannot turn down a Newport when it is offered to me. What a sad person I am.

If you exrecise regularly, you will see a big improvement when you stop.
I used to take a cigarette break between weights and cardio! Perhaps you are bored. Start cutting back and think of the first 20 minutes you haven't smoked. The recovery started.
