I am a 25 year old female 5'6" and I weigh 200 lbs. I know I eat less than 2000 calories and under 40 grams fat a day on average. I also work out 3-5 days a week cardio, and 5 days a week flex, and 3 days strength. This isn't a new routine. I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian and have been for 9 years. I am more flexable, stronger, and can last easily through a step class or martial arts class(not to brag, but to show example). I walk everywhere instead of drive. I even get all my veggies. On surface from reading nutrition and fitness books I am healthy, but I must be doing somthing wrong I weigh 200 lbs and am obese. I know its not all muscle because I got a lot of fat on me.I even got checked at the doctor and I have a healthy thyroid, normal blood pressure, regular blood sugar, and low bad cholesterol. I do have high trygliceride levels, and low good cholesterol. What can I do to change this. Is there something else besides concious effort that could be affecting my weight?
