I need help dieting but the problem is is that I go to college so it is hard for me to choose what i eat. I have to eat what they serve in the cafeteria. Can someone please tell me how to drop these pounds. thanks

You'll want to combine diet with exercise. When you have alot of weight to lose, they really do go hand in hand. As far as eating at the cafeteria- first off portion control. With the whole all you can eat thing, it's easy to have 2 caramel rolls for breakfest, or have a big bowl of ice cream for desert. What works for me is high protein and low carbs. Not atkins necessarily- that's way too strict for me, but I don't eat pastas or white bread- processed stuff like that. I know most colleges offer salad bars- get some lettuce and fix yourself a good salad. Vegies are great. Stay away from the french fries. I could go on and on, but I think you probably know what you need to watch for. Its usually a matter of discipline and will-power. You just gotta stick to it. And let your friends know what you're doing- that way they can help hold you responsible for what you do choose to eat. Support is VERY important. I hope this helped you.
