I just put the tv on before bed and came across an infomercial for Slim in 6. Have any of you heard of this? It supposedly reshapes your body in 6 weeks. They show testimonials of people losing anywhere from 10 to like 75 lbs. Now, I don't think its possible to lose 75 lbs in 6 weeks, without dying. but there was one girl who said 45 lbs in that time span. seems possible. not healthy, but possible. anyways i'm wondering if any of you have heard anything about it or tried it. if the testimonials are true, it'd be a pretty good deal. the workouts get increasinly intense over the 6 weeks. i don't typically look for a shortcut to losing weight- i've realized its gonna take some time to lose it, but hell, if this slim in 6 thing works......

I've seen the infomercial several times. My husband hates it when I even watch them for more than a minute because he calls them all gimmicks. Sure, they probably help, but it basically boils down to you wanting the achieve the results rather than dishing money out to companies for the quick fix they promise. You can walk, jog, run, lift weights, change your diet and achieve the same or better results. Then, you'll have all of these healthy changes under your belt and won't need the help of TV ads that promise quick weight loss. Best of luck deciding!

Heya Kaiaw

I just ordered the power 90 program its from the same company as slim in 6, I found most people liked both programs and they did lose alot of weight. Here are the reviews for the Slim in 6 program

http://www.fitnessinfomercialreview.com/slimin6.htm

Personally I think these programs are allright, mostly they keep you focused and working out and adds some variety to your workouts. But yeah 75 pounds in 6 weeks does sound a little fishy, most people are saying around 20ish which is pretty good too.

Hellos Kaiaw, I have the slim in 6 program and have had Excellent results with it. in my second week on the program I lost 10.5 inches overall. it is NOT an easy workout, LOTS of squats, lunges, crunches, push ups, resistance training. . . the list goes on. . . it is not for a casual work out, but if you are dedicated and REALLY want to lose weight it is an AWESOME program. BTW, if you do decide to purchase the program be prepared to HATE Debby
