Hey, all. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out.
Here's my situation. I'm just about to start college (hopefuly with the fall semester), and I'm interested in becoming a personal trainer/health and fitness expert.
Basically, I was wondering if anyone might have some helpful input as to what sort of courses will be necessary for this, or even if it's necessary, and /or worthwhile to go to college for it. I know you can get certified for it, but is becoming full-on college educated for it much better, and how would I go about it?
Thanks a LOT in advance.

Check out exercise and sports sciences classes. Most colleges that i know of have these programs. Getting a background will help with any area. Good Luck.

Thanks a lot! I'm actually interested, and looking into all the details of, becoming a fully certified personal trainer, as well as a chef, so hopefully with all that, I'll have all the necessary tools to formulate a completely healthy lifestyle for anyone I train. I figure if I'm a personal trainer, that will help with the exercise portions, and being a full-on cook/chef will help with the nutrition parts, since I'm looking into also taking some nutritional courses.
Any other feedback is more than welcome, since this is pretty shaky ground for me. Thanks!
