Hey, so today I did some max work at my new gym for the first time in 3 months. My previous maxes were
squat: 400lbs
bench: 176lbs
power clean: 187lbs
leg press: 480lbs
Now I'm up to
squat: 440lbs
bench: 264lbs!!!
Power Clean: 242lbs
Leg Press: 616lbs!!!
I'm really pleased with these gains, looks like I finally have a program that works well for me. If anyones interested I'm 16, 5ft9 and weigh 152lbs. Anyone have any tips for getting me started with the deadlift? I'm intertested to see how I'd compare with the power lifters. Any idea what a good weight to be lifting based on the above numbers would be? Thanks!

Great job Tom! Keep up the good work.
As for deadlift, there is a post by Gatormade about deadlifts. Look for that. It's very helpfull.:big_smile:

goodjob champ just keep it burning up :) what routine you currently use? also what exactly are power clean's guys? haha can you do it with freeweights? =)
