I did a search and read everything posted here about a good, cheap, protein drinks. I see it recommended everywhere for people who are busy. I myself am looking and I am wondering if anyone has something better/cheaper.
Here is what I did years ago.
I checked the nutritional info on EAS Myoplex Original(for bodybuilders) and Myoplex lite(weightloss). Myoplex lite is what I needed. It has half the protein, carbs, fat etc.
I would buy the Myoplex Original, (single serving packets) and make 2 servings out of each packet(instead of one serving) It still tasted awesome and it had what Myoplex lite had. I still take a multi-vitamin.
Right now, I found a site that has Myoplex orginal priced at $57.89 for 42 packets..thats about $1.38 per serving. Cutting it in half as I do, it's only about $0.69 for me.
I haven't heard anyone using Myoplex. Does anyone like it as much as I do?
I did notice some differences in brands Thngs like glutamine and aminogen are added to theirs. Is there something I am missing?

Hi amandamae, the personal reason why I don't get Myoplex (original or lite) is because of the price, which here in Mexico is really expensive, and I guess the same would apply to US. I have heard lots of good things about Myoplex and EAS, but I've never personally tried that protein powder.
Again I guess there are cheaper choices such as 100% Whey Protein by Optimum Nutrition which work pretty good, this is the protein shake I have postworkout.
Hope this helps.
