i looked at next weeks work out and it has me doing squats.no problem there but i have had total reconstructive knee surgery on my left knee(1994).the only problem i have is sometimes stiffness or when lived in Washington D.C. when weather changed suddenly i knew it (if cold front rolled in too fast or storm it hurt like bad.i don't want to use anything but just to keep from injury what should i do?this is why i left the Army in the first place.

I have a bad knee also I have some degenerative problem with the bone and ligaments. Strengthening the quads will help some. I have a Don joy brace I wear when it's acting up but other wise I just ordered a good set of wraps from inzer. They were little pricey at $22. per pair but they were highly recommended by rev8ball. SO is the knee a great war story you and the fellow black beret's on a night time recon mission and you forgot to tuck and roll lol.

haha more like showing off/demonatration.i was doing a high altitude jump for some brass and a gradulating airborne class(1994) and well the field hadn't been bush hogged.i found a rock about fire hydrant high and 3-4 feet across.my left knee went up and actually hit my chin and my right leg landed on ground.i saw the boulder a couple seconds(100 feet or so) before impact and i couldn't turn away fast enough to miss totally only partal impact left side.i had prior issues with the knee from other hostile jumps and was scheduled to have minor surgery but decided this was faster way to see doc.long story short they rebuilt me and sent me home 18 months later.guess it was just my time to screw up had been lucky all through desert shield/storm (only minor wounds hit in thigh (right),one grazed lower back near right kidney, bumps, cuts bruises)even solmalia wasn't that bad to me and yet here home safe on base i end my career. showing off/training exercise got me but hey i made the decision to jump(volunteered)what doesn't kill us...i will try the wraps

well since they say i still have 6 years on my enlistment and they rebuilt it to where it does keep me from working no medical benifts or pention.they can only recall me in event of all out war (i was half scared and half ready to go last time we went to iraq)but it wasn't all out war so no recall just was called, mailed and visited at home to be told "stand by for recall to active duty"i'm not complaining there are many others who actually need the money for there injuries worse than me.
