Hey I just started a workout program made by the football coaches at the University Of Nebraska and it's great. The thing about it though is one of the workouts is the neck and there is soposed to be some kind of machine that works the neck ( its the only machine exercise). I can't find any machine that works the neck. Any ideas on how to make the neck stronger?

Thanks

Hahahah thanks pimple.You do rule.
yogiponappa that sounds like a good workout but also sounds kinda dangerous like you could snap your neck or something. I weigh 190 I don't know if my neck could support all that weight.could it?
I'll try it anyways though.
Thanks

well, really, maybe headspins are a little beyond your reach, but doing still head stands does help in developing your neck... every bboy/bgirl will tell you so... just sit on your head for a few seconds, and over time you'll not even fill any pain or anything... you could do it on carpet or some other soft surface so that it won't hurt as much, or you could just wear a neanie or something...
good luck

hey A_toole, i play for north greenville college, and what we do to help out necks is get a partner and have them press down on the top of your head and go from totally down to bowed back. then have them put their weight into you on either side and press and go from side to side. do this with both sides and the back. also go from bowed and have them cup your head and you push down. you can adjust how hard they press to how your neck is. do 3x10 every other day, it should work for you
