Alright heres my deal. I work out 5 times a week. Mon chest and triceps, tuesday shoulders, back, biceps. Wednesday Legs, thursday chest and triceps, and friday shoulders, back, biceps. I also run on the treadmill from about 30-40 minutes. Burning about 400-600 calories. Is running this much counter-productive to my lifting routine. See I was 6'2" 218 at the beginning of my training last May(i wasnt running then). I put on some weight by the time school started and i weighed in at about 237 by september. I started my running routine then, and i've been doin it ever since. I'm down to around 230 now in weight. Im not fat, but I am kinda flabby, specially around the stomach area. Should I maintain this routine of lifting and running. Should I run less and just tighten my stomach through ab workouts? any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Keep running, but do some abs too. Maybe on Thursday? Your tri's are probably already getting hit pretty hard by your chest workout, so if time's an issue, that might be a good time to cut out one tri exercise and replace w/abs - or do them on Sat or Sun. Don't need the gym to do abs!
