Introduction

I joined a while back , hoping to find a community which would help in my battle to lose weight .... Then the problems with my legs started and i began to lose the ability to walk ... my doctor wanted to give cortizone injections i refused .. he suggested knee braces and i agreed i immediately got my life back and walked quite a bit the first day ... the furthest i can walk now is 2.7 km without resting... however I put on more weight :( ( so now i have more to lose) ... so now i want to get back in action .. build muscle (lots of muscle) and lose weight... I have been very bad at journalling but i will be making a serious effort..

Goals and motivation

1- build muscle
i want to see muscle definition in the arms and need to build up the mucles of legs and glutes to strengthen all that supports the knees
2- lose weight
this has been a really big problem for years but now i have the time to address it ...over the years i accumulated (80-100lbs ) i would like to take it
off and realistically that would be 2lbs per week
3-- journal, journal, journal
journalling is extremely important
- will help find the problems and obstacles
- will help in learning what needs to be tweaked up or changed
so these are goals along with some details
