YES,....the week off is over!!!

It felt soooo good doing weights again today. Cardio was a little challenging. I decided to change things up a bit with my 2nd 8 week program. Less reps, heavier weights and shorter rest times between sets. It was hard to stop today, I wanted to just keep going and do my whole body. A nice older guy who's been going to my gym on a regular basis (he's there everytime I am) told me today that he thinks I have a nice inner peace about me and he appreciates that. Hmmmm, not sure what to think about that.

Todays Target Muscle Groups:
-back - shoulders - biceps-

10 min. cardio (eliptical trainer) warm up

target muscle stretching

-Seated Machine Row (4 sets; 50-80lbs; 10-6 reps)
-Close Grip Machine Pulldowns (4 sets; 40-60lbs; 10-6 reps) these really make my wrists hurt :(
-Wide Grip Machine Pulldowns (3 sets; 55-70lbs; 10-6 reps)
-Dumbbell Shrugs (4 sets; 15-30lbs per arm; 15-8 reps)
-Standing Lateral Raises (4 sets; 10-15lbs; 14-4 reps)
-Front Dumbbell Raises (3 sets; 10-15lbs; 12-6 reps)
-Lying Dumbbell Curls (4 sets; 8-15lbs; 12-6 reps)
-Reverse Barbell Curls (4 sets; 20-35lbs; 10-6 reps)

Really great workout, I felt pumped!
