Thurs night blues

After a long day all I wanted to do was hit the gym.  I was looking forward to it.  I get to the gym, drop the boys off at jujistu and head to the bikes to start up a warm.  Fitness test 29 looking good heart rate up starting to sweat and only 6 minutes in this is great.  Then set the bike to go 2.5 miles this is easy for me.  I am going faster then usually which is 8.9 to 9.2 toaday I am over 10 feeling good. heart rate is only 101 right on pace.  Then I get a phone call, a friend stranded on the highway.  Darn it I was feeling so good.  Left the gym.  Helped out the friend they got the car taken care of and home to the kids.  Still feeling good but my average Thursday night cardio wasn't done.  I still did my upper body workout but it was on the light weights because all I have at home is some 2 lb weighted balls.  But I still did them!  Higher reps and slow with resistance... keeping it so my muscles don't know what is coming next.  Adapt and over come.  Tomorrow I will hit that cardio and enjoy it.
