Started my morning with chocolate whey protein blended with coffee, ice and melted bittersweet chocolate! I had a definite buzz going by the time I got to the gym. Got right into those DL's and felt strong.
Regular DL's: 2 sets, 15x115 each (15 of these just seems insane)
Step ups: 2 sets 15x20's (each leg) superset with one arm shoulder press: 2 sets, 1st set: 6x25's + 9x20, 2nd set: 15x20 but had to pause to get through it. I'm getting weaker??? Did my coffee and chocolate combo fail me here or what?
Narrow grip pulldowns: 2 sets 15x60 first set, 2nd set 9x70 then to get to 15 back to 60.
Superset with reverse crunches, 2 sets, 20x0 and 20x6 (weighted ball between my knees).
Last night was bad...I came home after a great cardio session to a big white Costco cake with red roses all over it. My bf treats himself to one of these cakes about once a year, eating a little every day until it is gone. Usually I have no problem resisting, but I arrived home from the gym ready to eat and the minute I saw that cake--and I think it was the red roses--I grabbed a knife and started eating the frosting off the cardboard. My bf was getting annoyed at me for picking at his cake and told me to just cut a piece...so after eating about 1/4 c. of frosting, I had a small slice of cake, took a shower, then had a pork chop and broccoli with cheddar cheese. My diet has to be perfect today!!! Perfect, I say!
