Stressful Day :(
I had tons of stress today. Got some bad news at work that may impact my parents visit. I'm the kind of person that stresses out before things actually happen. Really, really bad quality which I'm working on changing. Didn't want to go work out, drove all the way to the gym, got out of my car and got back in, thinking I really just wanted to go home and feel sorry for myself. Well, I ended up telling myself to suck it up and go work out, so here is what I did:
Todays Target Muscle Groups:
-Legs - Calves - Obliques-
10 min. cardio (stationary bike) warm up
target muscle stretching
-(BB) Stiff-Leg Deadlifts (5 sets; 25-65lbs **NEW PR**; 12-8 reps)
-(BB) Smith Machine Squats (5 sets; 45-100lbs; 12-6 reps)
-(BB) Walking Lunges (3 sets; 25lbs **NEW PR**; 16 reps per leg per set)
-Single Leg Calf Raises on LP (4 sets; 160-210lbs; 12-6 reps)
-(DB) Oblique Lifts (4 sets; 25-40lbs; 12-8 reps)

I wish could say I felt better afterwards,.....but I didn't. I did however feel much better during my workout.
