I was going to keep a hand written journal but found this site and decided this would be better. Since I work out alone this is the next best thing to going to a gym and learning from others. I hope to make freinds here and pick up great workout tips!

Today I ran and walked outside. Then came home and did various squats and lunges. I do running no matter what and my goal is to add strenghth training for my arms, back, legs, hips, and core. I want definition. And I think I can use my own body since I only have small weights.

I have 86 days until the Bahamas!

Hi there..i'm Christina. I am from the NE...Homer New York and Philly area in PA, so I know about cold weather! First, yes I fins running to be effective for over all weightloss...I do it 5-6 times a week, and I do not fret about what I eat then....every one is different. I eat good food all the time, but if I want candy, chips, etc...I don't think twice. I think running keeps my weight steady, and I find when I stop running I gain weight. You start running, even 1 mile a day, then increase as you get motivated, you will see the pounds and inches come off. Inside when its snowing....I would do a workout DVD if you have one, or just put some good music on and make up a routine as you move every body part for a 30 minute period....and sweat! Good luck !!
