Scales are EVIL!!!
I made a big mistake this morning! I weight myself just to see where I was at. BIG MISTAKE!!! The scale showed me a 2lbs weightgain :-( Now I know that my weight fluctuates during the week and that I could have gained some muscle (2lbs in 4 days???? I think not) I also know that my body has to get used to the new diet and workload, but that did not stop me from feeling a little defeated. In fact it put me in a bad mood all day long. I still feel preatty crapy. Somehow I managed to drag my defeated buns to the gym anyhow. I WILL NOT LET THIS KEEP ME DOWN.
PS: My chest did hurt today, but I enjoyed the fruit of yesterdays workout.
Todays target muscle groups
-back & calfs-
10 min. cardio (eliptical trainer) warm up
Hip, Back and Calf stretching
-Machine Lat Row (4 sets; 50-70lbs; 12-10 reps)
-Close Grip Machine Pulldowns (3 sets; 30-50lbs; 15-10 reps)This exercise felt odd/unnatural movement
-Machine Lying Calf Raises (3 sets; 160-180lbs; 15 reps)
-Seated Calf Raises (3 sets; 45-60lbs; 15 reps)
25 min. cardio (rowing)
-resistance: 5
-avarage speed: 30 SPM
(total body stretching 10 min, followed by complete burn out)
