Question

sometimes I think I cannot feel the muscles I am suppose to feel working. Is that because I am so weak other muscles are compensating for the weak ones? Is that even possible? My son said, "you just have to do the exercises the best you can." But what if I am not doing them right? The video is really clear to understand, it is not that I do not get it.

It is just because I am starting out really weak, I am not sure the right muscles are working.

Perhaps you could be a bit more specific about which exercises you're doing and which muscles you can't feel during the exercises. I think all exercises are different and it's not always easy to try and put the focus on a specific muscle, because so many other muscles are involved. Breathing is also important, especially for abdominal exercises, where you want to exhale then flex the abs.
