On a tread mill

Had a good diet for a few years now. Been exercising for a few years also. Started off great. constant change. Then I just stopped showing any change. I tried the "muscle confusion" and changing diets but I just seem to be stuck on a treadmill. Wearing myself out for no apparent reason. If I could get rid of the love handles, I would be happy but now its like I'm working out just to maintain. Probably my age.
