Yesterday had more stuff done at the chiropractor. Fortunately he's been weight training for years, so can give me advice on what I can and can't do, which is excellent. I was given the go-ahead to do a chest workout, continue walking, and start elliptical at the weekend if things are okay.

As I am trying to build up some endurance for cycling, I walked for an hour at 65-75% MHR

Bench press on smith machine: bar only (20KG I think)x10
+5kgx8, +10kgx8, +15kgx6
chest press machine: 28kgx8, 35x6

Felt a bit stupid just doing these two exercises and nothing else, but I didn't ask if I could do any other weights, and I know I'm a lot more likely to try to do too much than the other way round, so I just left it at that.
