Just starting Out..

For the past 10 years, I have had mom-guilt.  I was always skinny, but after I had my daughter, I couldn't shake the weight.  I have tried several lose weight quick schemes and the only one that really worked was the keto diet.  Sadly, after I had my daughter, I also had my gallbladder removed and with the keto diet, its a lot of fats that my chunky butt had a hard time digesting and I ended up losing weight really fast (like 20lbs in a few weeks).. but I got really sick and malnourished and it just wasn't working out for me.  I was eating the right foods for the diet... but not for my body.

In April, I had surgery on my hand and I told myself that this year was the year I was going to finally do this getting in shape thing the proper way.  No diet fads, shake plans, or 30 day challenges. Just plain and simple healthy eating (cutting my carbs and sugar intake only) and a normal daily exercise routine that would be manageable to a stay at home mom of a busy child and a lazy fiancee.

My daughter has told me I am fat, made jokes about my stomach being big.. its hurtful that she sees me that way.  I weigh 160lbs.. I am 5'6".. my arms and legs look like chicken limbs,.. the fat is all where my daughter left it when I evicted her... my stomach!

Here is to hoping that something gives and I can reach my pre-baby weight from 10 years ago of 130lbs.  I was 180lbs when I had my daughter, and I lost the 20lbs almost immediately. Time to get rid of the other 30lbs!
