Okay, so I sound a little like George Costanza. The doctor has me doing a lot of stretches and stability ball exercises. He is okay with me getting back to the gym for things. So, while the rest of the country was out shopping yesterday, I went to work out with the weights. Tried to take it easier, but I felt fine. Now, on with the countdown...
Squats (I loathe these, and my legs are feeling it today):
90X12, 180X10, 200X8, 220X6, 180X10
Leg Ext: 70X12
Lying Leg Curls: 70X12 75X10 80X8 80X6 70X12
DB Deadlift: 30X6 (didn't want to push it on the lower back right now)
Seated Calf Raises: 180X12 200X10 220X8 240X6 200X12
1-Leg Raise: 110X7
Stability Ball sit ups and side crunches: 3 sets each to failure.
It's not bad to get back. I have six months left to get in shape for a role in a show I want to do. I've dropped over 10 lbs and almost a pant size. Today I'm off and back at it tomorrow.
