IDK!!!!!!!

I am new to this website and I am a 15 year old male that is 225 pounds and I have tried working out in the past but my problem is that I do the workouts for like three days and expect results. I have even went on a only salad diet that only made me upset that I couldn't have my favorite foods. I recently have been running about a mile a night for about 2 weeks now with eating whatever i want but not going overboard and haven't seen any change in my figure or weight. I was just wondering if there is any way to lose weight ASAP because I am moving back to my hometown and want to look good and not like a fat slob.
If anyone can give me any tips I will be very grateful.
