***HELP*** my left knee is starting to bother me :(

I wasn't able to do my lunges today because I started having some pain in my left knee. It's only there when I lunge or squat (on the way back up). There is absolutely no pain when I walk or just move my knee. The pain is located on the top left side of my left knee. I've had it before while doing lunges, but this time it was bad enough to stop me :( Any idea what it could be? How do I keep it from getting worse and get rid of it?

Todays Target Muscle Groups:
-Legs & Calves_

10 min. cardio (stationary bike) 2 min. warm up; 4 min. HIIT 20 and 10 sec. intervals; 2 min. cool off.

-(SS) Leg Extensions (3 sets; 40-70lbs; 10-6 reps +10 sec. hold at the end of last set) alternating with Seated Hamstring Curls (3 sets; 60-90lbs; 10-6 reps)
-(BB) Smith Machine Squats (4 sets; bar only 45lbs - 95lbs; 12-6 reps)
-(SS) Inner Thigh Machine (3 sets; 90-120lbs; 10-6 reps +10 sec. hold at the end of last set) alternating with Outer Thigh Machine (3 sets; 80-110lbs; 10-6 reps)
-Machine Hamstring Kickbacks (3 sets per leg; 30-50lbs; 10-6 reps)
-Single Leg Calf Raises on LP (3 sets; 160-200lbs; 10-6 reps)
