Getting Started 2012

The new year is here. Welcome 2012. It is another Olympic year and who better to motivate all of us looking to improve our health and fitness this year than all the extraordinary athleates headed for the London games. http://www.london2012.com/sport

I have a lot of goals for myself this year.  None are as big as competing in the Olympics, but they are huge to me.  I am starting my second year at my current job so have my first real 'preformance review' coming up.  That's a bit scary and am really hoping things go well.  If they do, I am sure to have many new goals in that department.  I am also starting on a new venture to open my own business which will be brining me a lot of 'firsts'.  I am just lucky I have found a partner to take on that adventure with me.

To keep up with all the demands of two jobs, I am going to need to be physically fit.  So here I am for the first time at freetrainers.com writting this log and making plans.  In June there is a convention taking place related to the business I am opening (I am hoping for an October opening).  I want to be at least 30 lbs lighter than my current 230.  On my 5'-5" frame... that is just too darn much fat.

Maybe I'll find a good group of people to motivate me here.
