First two days complete, but still unsure..

I just did my leg and shoulder workout these past two days, My legs are sore but i dont know about my shoulders and when im done i feel like i could do more workouts, but im unexperinced in what to do. What im asking is, does the workout that the provide perfect to get into where you want to be or just a template for you to add or take away things to your comfort?
