.. !!first day using freetrainers!! ..
went to the gym ryt after my 8am exam.. it was a great way to get my mind off the exam and have a quick mental rest!! :D
>5min warm up with rower just to get things started.
>barbell lunges: 3/15/14kg
-the scheduled program actually asked for only 2set, but i added an extra set sine i usually do 3sets.
-i think id actually be able to do this with a bit heavier weights next time.
>machine hamstring curl: 3/15/26.2kg
-again did 3sets instead of the scheduled 2sets.
>inclined leg press: 3/15/55kg
-was supposed to do straight leg deadlifts, but forgot to read the instructions on how to do the exercise, to i thought i'd replace it with the leg press.
>crunches: 3x15 with 2 extra pulses at each crunch
>leg raises: 3x15
-had difficulty keeping my back to the ground
-i kept hearing some sorta popping sound from inside my body, like something popped out of place or into place or maybe bones shifting around.. it was weird :s ..
>medball twists: 3x15x5kg
-was actually supposed to do seated twists, but i read in the threads that most people dont think it does much, and i agree because i've tried doing it before and also didnt feel anything..
>25mins cardio: walking on treadmill
-it didnt have a hills button to do HIIT, so i tried manually doing it and i hope it worked.
-walked at 6km/hr, constantly changing inclination up&down between grade 3.0 and 12.0 every 15 or 20sec.
:D happy with the work i did today.. i really hope being with freetrainers can help me progress and get out of my plateau..
more tomorrow!! yay!!
