First Day of Excercise

Today I had my first day of the work out program. I added a little of my own flare to the work out to make it a little more intense. Instead of just lifting weights, I added cardio as well. It was pretty instense and I already feel it all over my body! I can't imagine how I will feel tomorrow. But it will all be worth it in the end.

For my cardio I did:
1 minute of mountain climbers
1 minutes of high knees
1 minute of butt kicks
1 minute of burpees
ran for 5 minutes
1 minute of mountain climbers
1 minutes of high knees
1 minute of butt kicks
1 minute of push ups
10 tricep dips
pushed the prowler three times (down and back =1)

There was more to the original work out but I was no able to finish it. I completed two thirds of it though! So I'm still pretty proud of myself. After my cardio, I did my shoulders.

For shoulders I did:
seated dumbbell presses x 10
seated lateral raises x 10
bent over dumbbell raises x 10
3 sets of each

I was supposed to do fifteen reps but I was no able to seeing how I've never worked out this area of my body in my life. I finished strong. I also was no able to use a very high weight but that's okay, heavier weights will come with time. To end my workout, I worked on my abs.

For abs I did:
crunches x 10
twisting crunches x 10
hanging leg raises x 10
side crunches x 10
plank for 30 seconds
3 sets of each
