First Day!

Today was my first day getting back on track and working out. My journey to getting healthier really started about two years ago, and I lost about 10 pounds from that, but I've gotten really lazy. It's really difficult to keep the motivation up and continue according to plan. I didn't want to gain all of the weight back, so I switched my diet to being a vegetarian. I've been a vegeatarian for about 7 months now, and my insides feel sqeaky clean. I've basically maintained the weight that I lost, but I look leaner because my intake of meat has been eliminated, wheat has been cut back significantly, and I get nutrients from natural things, such as fruit, vegetables, and nuts and eggs for protein.

I'm really excited for the future, and I want this to be the one thing that I follow up on and actually complete. I'm notorious for stopping halfway, and I want to win this once and for all. :]

I'll be weighing in every Sunday. My goal is to lose about a pound or two every week. It's not too extraneous on me because I want to set a goal that easily achievable, and when I go over that goal, it motivates me even further, rather than set a high one (like I usually do), fall short, and feel discouraged.
