Day 3 of Week 7 was a really good HOME workout :)
It's that time of the month again and I felt bad enough to stay home from work. It was a real struggle to get my butt off the couch, but I felt like I had to do something and since I've got a lot of workout stuff at home I figured I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did!!! I had lots of fresh air and more water than normally during my workout. I felt the burn in all the right places.
Todays Target Muscle Groups:
-legs & calfs-
10 min. cardio (eliptical trainer) warm up
target muscle stretching
-standing hamstring kickbacks
(3 sets per leg; 5lbs ancle weight; 15 reps with 2 sec. hold)
-standing straight leg front raises
(3 sets per leg; 5lbs ancle weight; 12 reps with 2 sec. hold)
-standing straight leg side raises
(3 sets per leg; 5lbs ancle weight; 12 reps)
-lying inner thigh raises
(3 sets per leg; 5lbs ancle weight; 15 reps with 2 sec. hold
-stairway single leg calf raises
(3 sets per leg; 10lbs DB; 15 reps)
-lunges
(3 sets per leg; BW; 12 reps)
ended my workout with target muscle stretching and vacuming the stairs :)
