ok so i've been doing this workout DVD for the past few days and i'm gonna do it again today and i can tell it really works cause i got really sore and i'm slowly working out the soreness...but i've hit a plateau in my weight..do i just keep working at it till it goes down or what?? cause i forgot last time when i said i lost five pounds i did but i gained two back but now i'm at 161.8 and i lost 3 pounds in 8 days which is still great...but like i said i've hit a plateau in my weight but i still plan on working on it but i wanted to see what you guys thought about it all..

    thank you ioris :) and sorry about the numbers, i was just saying what the app on my phone said cause trust me it lost me to haha..but i can't get the book right now but i will defiantly check out the web site :D i do have a question for you though, i hit a plateau for a few days and i gained 1.5 pounds back, is that normal to do while still working out and eating healthy (well trying to eat healthy, it's hard for me to do because where i live there is hardly any healthy foods in the house like fruits and veggies, it's mostly junk food)??

    Hey Peyton, All those numbers are making me dizzy :P Try not to fixate on them too much! You can't even accurately calculate all this stuff - so many other contributers you're not accounting for. If you see calories as just calories...you'll be starving yourself. Put all that amazing energy you have into learning about eating right. Good calories will keep you feeling full, increase your metabolism, give you the energy to maintain activity, and burn cleanly ...in other words, without causing disease. I love that you're so dedicated and keen on this! I know you'll be sucessful! Pick up a copy of this book if you could -> Healthy at 100 by John Robbins.     oh and i've been consuming fewer calories..i got this app for my smartphone and it said for my weight i should consume 2100..and i don't even reach that mark..yesterday i only consumed 1340 calories and in exercise it said i burned 1837 calories: resting 14 hours and 15 minutes: 1098 cal (but i hardly sat down yesterday i was standing up and moving around a lot so i should probably include that next time..cause it takes the hours and minutes of working out and moving around from a set number of hours in resting), sleeping 8 hours: 555 cal, calisthenics (home workout) for 30 minutes: 135 cal, housework for 15 minutes: 48 cal
