Day 1: AM

So, did my morning cardio (if you could call it that). 20m running was my assignment. It was more of a wog (walk/jog). Both my achilles just tighten right up, but I got it done and my 9 month old pup appreciated it as well. Later today, my home workout. Sounds good right? Well, left the house without my meals, so it's coffee with lactose/sugar free creamer till lunch, then it's a parfait with fruit and granola. I know, not the best, until I can get home for my workout then my chx and veggies. Another good note. One of my best friends that moved to NZ 2 years ago came into town last night and we went to sushi, and I had one roll, water, and passed on the deep fried cheesecake. :-)

Thanks! It was nice getting your comment. Today overall was a win because although everything didn't go exactly as planned, I didn't let it get me down and derail me. This leads me to believe this time really will be a lifestyle change instead of a quick fix. Dealt with my now ex-mother in law with grace and dignity, managed to stay off the couch and shifted my at home workout to over 2.5hrs of VB. Not bad. Now I'm sitting in my jacuzzi tub (sore already so you know how screwed I am tomorrow) so I'm thinking just an activia yogurt before bed. Not the greatest nutrition day, but food is portioned and packed for tomorrow. Day 2: 20m WOG, home exercise program. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Goodnight. *it's nice to know you guys are out there*

Hey, congrats to you for getting up and moving. Injuries suck, they show us our limitations. I believe if my body could do everything my mind thinks it can, I'd be a pro athlete or dancer. Unfortunately my hip (among other things- like no coordination) doesnt want to play along! So what do we do? We adapt, we adjust our sails to the wind. Be careful with your feet, you only get 2 and they carry you everywhere in this life. What about adding biking and swimming along with wogging , until the achilles are up to speed? And I have to tell you, sushi is one of my biggest downfalls, good for you for sticking to one roll, with no sapporo and no cheesecake! Great Job!
