That friendly guy at the gym I was telling you about ended up asking me out last night! I'm not sure whether to be annoyed, because I had been pleased at the prospect of a new gym friend; flattered, because he's the first person to ask me out since my break-up; or depressed because he's in his late 50s!
Actually, to be fair, I suspect we'll still talk and be friends, he seems a cool guy.
I did a HIIT session on the stationary bike last night :
5mins warm up
1min @ 25mph (95%MHR); 90 secs @ 15mph (75%MHR) x 8
then 40 mins @ 70-75% MHR
Just to clarify, I am focusing very much on CV conditioning for cycling at the moment, rather than lean mass gains (incase you all thought that I'd totally lost the plot with excessive cardio :OD)
