Chest/Cardio

Week 7 has came to an end, and the start of week 8 has begun. Weigh in day; 228.5, down a 1-1/2pounds from last week. Things going pretty well, didn't get to do as much cardio as I would have liked last week, and the workouts seemed scattered throughout the week, but I was able to hit each body part once. 14.5 pounds down, lots and lots to go. Should reach my goal weight by the time I'm 50..Ha ha..........

Pullovers (ez bar)
12x95 12x105 12x115 10x125
Incline Flyes
12x40 12x45 12x50 10x55

Incline Dbl Presses, 3 positions, #2 being the hardest, and brings the shoulders into play a little more. Pre-exhausted with the flyes above, found them to be pretty tough for me.

#2- 12x55 10x60
#1- 12x65 10x70
Reg.-12x75 7x80

Flat Bench Flyes
12x50 (3/4 reps)
12x55 (3/4 reps)
12x60 (3/4 reps)
10x65 (full getting the inner chest involved)
6x70 (full holding flex for 5sec. at the top)

Decline Dbl Press
12x70 10x75 7x80 5x85 4x90

Ok, had enough, workout went well, had a good pump, and the mental focus was there for each rep..Felt good, the mind is finally coming into play on every rep..About time!

Hope to see and feel the same intensity next time. Recovery from each set is a lot better to. Have cut Rest Between Sets down considerably.

Lunch Time Stationary Bike

5+35+5 minutes

5 min. warming up free pedal
20 min. Level 8 (75%-80%)
15 min. Level 7 (70%)
5 min. Level 6 cool down

Walk 5 minutes

Stats 385 calories 15.4 miles

Maybe someday I will be able to do that on level 16; ha ha!!!
