bench press

im 14 6'1 a freshman and an Outside Linebacker and Wide Receiver for my highschool football team i can max my bench press at 165 3 times and normally i can do 145 6 times is this good or should i try less weights but more reps?

    if you go less weight more reps then that will improve your max. and that's always good so never stop doing that, you don't want to max out on bench everytime you get on, that's how you destroy muscles and lose mass and definitely strength.
