Back At It

Well, things will get back to as normal as they can for me. My play closed over the weekend. I felt it was a success, despite the subject matter of Greek tragedy. Plus, it gave me a chance to have some cool speeches. Anyway, I headed back to the gym and had a good workout.

Bench press 15X95 12X105 8X115 4X115
Incline DB Press 15X20 12X25 10X30 8X30
Flat DB Press 15X20 12X25 10X30 8X30
Pec Deck 15X60 12X70 8X70 6X80

45 seconds rest between sets 1, 2, and 3 and then 60 seconds between sets 3 and 4.

25 Minutes on elliptical

My upper body strength has never been all that good, so I really pushed out the last two reps on every exercise. I wanted to quit, but tried to gut out a couple of more, and I did. I know it'll get better in time. I still use the best form I can. Drank my shake and have watched my diet all weekend. I feel great. This is such an unusual feeling for me. It's like I can almost feel myself getting stronger, I know that's silly but what the heck. And the new bed arrived this weekend. I slept soooo well all weekend. And the combination of magnesium, zinc, and B6 that was recommended on the message boards seems to be helping me sleep sounder. I know I can't make up for all the lost sleep over the last year or so, but it's at least a start.

It's back day today. My personal favorite. More tomorrow.
