#8- Staying the course

Spent 10 hours in the car yesterday which, after my workout Sunday, left me a little sore/stiff. (Thanks CharlieMV for the advice on the push/pull-I hit parts of muscle groups that had obviously been sleeping!)  Today to losen up I did 15 mins on the treadmill, then hopped on the bike for a hardcore spinning routine for 40 mins.  It felt great.  Did core, chest, bicep, tricep and back...even tried my husbands ab straps again (still not there- but on my way!)  Followed workout with a smoothie and scrambled eggs. 
Goals today: 
1) work cardio hard...done! 
2) avoid excess salt, processed sugar and sat fat...so far, so good..told hubby instead of candy and dinner- I'd like a new HR monitor please!  Kinda fitting for valentines, right? 
3) recognize my accomplishments... getting there!  (this flog helps a great deal)  :-)
