Hit the gym first thing this morning - won't be able to run at lunch. I have decided to arrange my running scheduled like this in preparation for the race next month:
Mon -> Max. Vo2 Intervals
Tue -> 5k Steady
Wed -> Max. Vo2 Intervals
Thr -> Hills
Fri -> Rest
Sat -> Max. Vo2 Intervals
Sun -> Long Run
This is pretty close to what I have doing, but should help me prepare better.
This morning I decided to pace myself for a 24:00 5k and see what happened. I did pretty well - I probably need to lower my goal time - I may be able to shave another min or so off it in the next month. I feel like I am still underestimating my capabilities and probably need to have more confidence that I can dig deeper when running.

0:57 x 7.7 mph
5:00 x 7.0 mph
5:00 x 3.5 mph {cooldown}
5k in 24:03
3.81 miles in 30 mins
4.10 miles in 35 mins
