What an interesting day. I gotta gripe here first.
Wife and I hit the gym, typically in the evenings - after the work/cardio class crowds are leaving - around 7-8pm.
SOOOOO....
Anyway, Bren and I jump on the cycles and begin our workout. I have like 6 different exercises to do. I start looking around and there are, I dunno, maybe 6 people in the exercise room. I look at my book, and start checking machines one by one behind me that I have to hit. I notice Bren crinking her neck trying to figure out what the heck I'm looking at - so I told her.
Just so happens like all these people are using ALL of the machines I need to use. Mind you - there are 3 weight rooms with like a gigbillion machines and what are the odds of ALL the Lat Raise machines being used at the same time as ALL the curl machines etc.. etc.. Fascinating example of Murphy's Law at play last night.
I can't wait until so many New Year's resolutions fall through the cracks. I guess you guys deal with this every year, right?
Anyway, I got through my workout:
