listen ladies is a good idea to remember if your takling arm masshit up your tri's but surfs im pretty sure we were talking about biceps, so i always say mass follows stregth so get STRONGER and get BIGGEGR :dumbbell:

I'm 5'6" and I got 11" biceps. But I have 19" thighs, and a 28" waist. Am I just a tad out of proportion. I should mention I'm a wrestler, and my style rarely involves lifting with my upper boddy.

Which style is that???? Theres pulling in every type of wrestling, jujitsu, and sambo ive ever seen. Not necessarily done with the biceps, but most of your pulling strength comes from upper back.

Also, think about this. If your wrestling freestyle, and someone ties up with you, what do you do? Because i was primarily a greco wrestler, and took 5th in NYS by throwing my way through freestyle wrestlers that couldn't pull or grapple.

I've been working out for quite a while, im a boxer, and I weigh about 171 lb, I've been working out alot sense about 14, I really can't see Any gain, but I can put alot of people to shame in my gym, i can benchpress almost 250, and curl 50 pound dumbell, 3sets 10 reps, I dont understand how u guys get so big lol!, I have 14 inch arms 24 inch theighs and about 44 inch chest, 35 inch waist, is the technique really Lift heavy and get big, or left less, but do more?

yea i know...I was bored that day anda "young" member kinda cool to see whan I had 18.5 in biceps lol now they are bigger, knwo i doing somthing right....even though i'm not concentrating on bicep size.

Where did I say there was no need for upper body strength??? I was actually saying quite the opposite, if you read my post. I was primarily an upper body wrestler, grappling my way through my matches.

I haven't really grown too much and I'm very short but I hope I can get to at least 16-18' after I am done growing

The fact is you could have 20 inch arms and be total fat then again you could have 13 inch arms and be total muscle and no fat at all.

well i'm proud of what I have...and by body fat is below the national average too...just so you know.


I'd rather be what I am now.....than to be small and have a ego to try and make up for my lack of size

Hey ppl
Im 16 years old, and i started to work out about a year ago.at first i couldnt even lift a 15 pound dummbbell. Now i can lift about 35.
When doing a bech press i can lift 70 pounds barbell. i have a 16 inch biceps. is that good?

Clean diet...misconception is more reps more claories burned....which is wrong....unless your doing 100s and 100s of reps.

LOL!!! I am sitting here in my makeshift office in Iraq at 1105 pm (local time), I have read every single thread and I gotta say bigandrew...THANKYOU...i have laughed atleast 4 times while reading this witch took me about 20 to 30 minutes. WHOA ... okay im glad i found this topic because i use to work out about 2 years ago, im about 5'11...my chest is 38 inches close to 39 my waist is 32 and my biceps are about 14 inches....my max is i dont know what but i really dont care about how much i lift. just wanna get that body in shape so in case i need to take off my shirt to go swim the ladies are like ooooo u so sexy haha...what do you guys think of my specs...im 20 and i weigh 155.

MAN! u guys have huge arms compared to me. Im 14 im 5'6", i weigh 110, and my arms are 12 inches. I work out all the time but i never get my arms any bigger. any tips?
