i was about to post my one rep max weight cause i was so proud of my progress..but then i caught a glimps at the sticky by gatormade on max rep mistakes.so im back to the drawing board..hehehehe...is good reading for sure..ty gatormade...

well..what i thought was a one rep max weight was completely wrong..his post very clearly defines what constitutes it...so now i have to figure it the correct way :)

ummm..ok...well i thought it meant the greatest amount of weight you could lift without assistance..of course after some warm-up sets etc...what i get from the post from gatormade, its an avg of a number of single reps...ive been humbled down to a noob again :/

I think you misunderstand gator's post. If it was the max effort mistakes post, then that is just detailing one way of working up to a 1 rep max.

Yup, her is a max work out I did: Bench press: warm up 135x10 185x5 225x3 265x1 275x1 295x1 315x1 325x1 that last set was my max.

well..since my flat bench press wasnt my first chest exercise for the day i guess id say i got a warm up...

well..my max rep for flat bench press was 95#..slightly leaning to the right..but spotter didnt touch the bar and got it up all way.. im proud :) i think i understand now..ty both :)
