So.....other than throwing at people what value does a swiss ball provide?

I enjoy kicking them when they roll by my feet at the gym.

I think it shows potential in a rehabilitation setting, but not prehabilitation.

I also think it is a great ergonomic aid for keeping the hip flexors loose (in place of a chair).

And no, none of that makes any sense at all. If I'm ever in a gym where the trainer is using rational like that, I am going to use my "over-trained shoulders" to punch the guy in the face.

Why would anyone want to do that? Not only are rotational exercises contraindicated in a rehab setting (which is the clientèle they target), but how can you possibly strengthen anything while standing on a swiss ball?
